Jennifer Jorgenson
Jennifer has been in the event industry for over 15 years in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Her career with Design Cuisine Caterers and DC Rental, two premier event companies, has enabled her to plan events all over the country. Aside from planning hundreds of events at prime local venues, Jennifer has traveled to design events at exclusive resorts such as The Breakers, Palm Beach, Florida, and The Phoenician, Scottsdale, Arizona, for as few as 10 guests, and as many as 3500 guests. Jennifer has conceived, designed and executed truly unique weddings and events to the delight of her clients and their guests. Most recently, she has been an independent consultant in the industry – offering her expertise and services to companies in need of her assistance.
Jennifer joined Social Scene Events at the beginning of 2009. Teaming up with her associate of 14 years Sara Franklin, has been a perfect fit. Her experience in the DC Metropolitan area gives her invaluable insight and direction in choosing vendors and locations within a client’s style and budget, thus, creating a totally personalized event, which is a true reflection of her client’s wishes and dreams. She has a great eye for style and design, and her attention to detail is exceptional. She thrives on problem solving and her calm, organized demeanor on site puts all of her clients at ease. Jennifer is a third generation Washington DC native. She graduated from Loyola College in Baltimore, with a BA in Advertising/Public Relations. Jennifer currently is happily residing in Arlington, Virginia with her husband and children.
