Anderson House - Washington, D.C.

This extraordinary celebration took place at the historic Anderson House on Embassy Row, for just over 160 guests.

From Sara: From the beginning Saskia and Ben wanted to have an elegant, effortless event to celebrate their wedding with all their family and friends.  They instantly fell in love with the Anderson House and it proved to be the perfect backdrop for an intimate ceremony in The Ballroom and alfresco dining in the Hoyt Garden, under a clear top tent.  One of my favorite details was the way the moss-covered escort card table was transformed into an sumptuous cheese and chocolate buffet while guests danced the night away.  My other favorite detail: the scrumptious cake delivered from New York.

Fom Saskia & Ben: We chose to go the bespoke route for our wedding, without fully realizing how much extra work we had created for ourselves at a time when we were already preparing for an assignment overseas.  That's where Sara came in with her boundless energy and exuberance for the planning process.  Her spark and humor made her a joy to work with.  With her expertise and experience in event planning, she effortlessly pulled together a team of the area's best vendors and helped execute every last detail.  There is simply no way we could have done it without her.  Sara turned our dream wedding into a reality and we thank her for making our weekend so special.
